It is set 21 years after ARMA 2 , in mid- 2030 , where NATO forces deployed in the Greek islands of the Aegean Sea are trying to keep a massive military offensive from Iran from the east. During the campaign for a player, the player takes the role of a soldier US , Corporal Kerry. Initially, the player must survive on his own after friendly forces were defeated in a failed NATO operation. During the campaign, the player will face everything from solitary wolf infiltration missions to command of large-scale armor operations. The player can choose different targets and weapons (such as unmanned aerial vehicles, artillery and air support) according to their style of play. 2
