This is the second installment of the saga Assassin's Creed , and is the sequel to the 2007 video game released Assassin's Creed . Console was launched in November 2009 and for Windows in March 2010. The story begins twenty-first century , controlling the character Desmond Miles , who escapes Abstergo Industries with the help of Lucy Stillman, after being forced to live the genetic memory of his past life as an assassin Altaïr ibn the- Ahad through a machine called the Animus. After the escape, Desmond uses a device more advanced than the original Animus, the Animus 2.0, and begins to relive the genetic memory of another past life, that of Ezio Auditore da Firenze , who lived during the Renaissance in the late fifteenth century in Italy . Ezio becomes an assassin after his father and brothers are executed by the Templars . While controls Ezio, the player can explore different Italian cities, regions and landmarks in open world .

Assassin's Creed II had a very good value: removed a score of 91% for PlayStation 3 , [16] 90% for Xbox 360 [17] and 86% for PC [18] magazine Metacritic . The game was praised for its strong emphasis on open world exploration and interaction, the non-linear gameplay and missions variation compared to the first Assassin's Creed . The game was also credited with improving the AI and mechanics of combat and the new economic system that allows the player to buy accessories, improved armor and weapons throughout the entire game.
